GENERAL INFORMATION
We do NOT take in any sick, or severely injured animals. We do not have a vet on site to care for emergent situations.
We have the right to refuse any adoption for any reason.
We are NOT associated with the Animal Control services in our county. We are not affliated with law enforcement, and have no legal jurisdiction to enforce any said laws. We cannot do welfare checks. Law enforcement must be contacted for those situations.
We do NOT take walk-in strays or surrenders. You must have an appointment to bring an animal in for intake. You will be asked to leave if you enter the building with an animal that’s not approved.
We pride ourselves on our clean facility, and what we do. We know situations arise that are beyond control. With that being said, there’s only so much that we can do. It’s hard for all parties involved. Threatening or confrontational behavior will NOT be tolerated.
Please remember to bring a cat carrier for feline adoptions, and leashes for canine adoptions. We do not provide carriers for cats or leashes for dogs. If we have donated items that we will not use at the shelter, then we can send them out with adoptions, but those items are not provided standardly.
